After a short hiatus, Radio KAIR is live and broadcasting! Originally founded in 2017 by our very own Bob Robertson, Radio KAIR has a focus and passion for providing the local Lake Houston and surrounding communities with the best in local news, weather, podcasts, talent and nostalgic music including classic country and the top hits from the 50’s to the 70’s.

From potential floods and hurricanes, to local news, events, and business, Radio KAIR was created to inform and connect with as many people as possible in the local Lake Houston area. As we go into our 9th year serving the local communities, we continue to share the same goals and passion, just with some new faces!

Bob Robertson has joined forces with Daniel Roberts to maximize Radio KAIR’S potential, as well as Ally Nona, our social media expert, and Alex "Smiley" Maddox, a veteran of broadcasting.

The four of us are so excited to connect with our local communities, and bring our love for the music of the past to the 21st century!

Virgilio Davis brings an authentic voice, a passion for people, and a commitment to meaningful conversation to the RadioKAir.com family. As a radio personality, Virgilio is dedicated to creating programming that informs, inspires, and entertains listeners from all walks of life.

Known for his engaging style and genuine personality, Virgilio has a unique ability to connect with audiences through music, conversation, and community-focused content. Virgilio has been known for his singing with the Shreveport Opera, Television appearances, White House solos for the Clilnton administration and voicing Red Dead Redemption for RockStar Games. These days, Virgilio runs his own art company, VirgilioArt.com, is a professor with Lone Star College-Kingwood and CEO of Food and Beverage Innovations LLC. Whether he's interviewing special guests, highlighting local stories, or sharing messages of encouragement, he brings energy, professionalism, and heart to every broadcast.

Virgilio believes that great radio is about more than entertainment—it's about building relationships, strengthening communities, and giving listeners a place where they feel heard, valued, and inspired. His passion for uplifting others and creating positive experiences aligns perfectly with the mission of RadioKAir.com.

Though Daniel has a background in tech, he always felt drawn to something more creative and people-focused. That passion turned into action after a chance call with Bob Robertson opened the door to a whole new path, and what started as a simple conversation quickly evolved into a career. Now at Radio KAIR, Daniel combines his technical expertise with his love for connecting with people. He’s especially passionate about getting involved in the community—whether that’s volunteering, supporting local events, or just finding ways to give back. For Daniel, it’s all about building connections, sharing stories, and making a positive impact wherever we can.
His journey shows that sometimes the best opportunities come when you least expect them—and that it’s never too late to chase what excites you.

Alex "Smiley" Maddox: The Man Who Refused to Let the Storm Win
