The Octavia Fields Library Branch is a part of the Harris County Public Library system and provides services such as access to books, magazines, audiobooks, eBooks, online databases, ESL classes, citizenship preparation, passport services, children's storytimes, meeting rooms, and more. Humble was one of the first locations in the HCPL system back in 1921. The library was renamed in 1969 to honor Octavia Fields and moved to 1503 South Houston Avenue in June 2001.
